Job Summary BE. by Brittaney Elise is an internationally recognized interior design studio specializing in residential and boutique commercial projects, with a focus on custom furniture and stone customization. Our work has been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Vogue Living, and more. We are seeking a talented Junior or Senior Interior Designer to support our team across all phases of design—from concept through installation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive designer who thrives in a collaborative, high-end studio environment. Key Responsibilities • Support the Lead Designer across all project phases, from concept through installation • Assist with design development, space planning, FF&E selections, and material palettes • Prepare mood boards, finish schedules, and design presentation decks • Draft and revise drawings using AutoCAD and/or SketchUp (based on experience level) • Produce and edit specification sheets, schedules, and design documentation • Review shop drawings, samples, and material submittals • Track selections, pricing, lead times, and revisions across multiple projects • Coordinate with vendors, trades, and project partners to support timelines • Participate in site visits, installations, and install days as needed • Manage portions of projects independently, commensurate with experience level Required Experience • Minimum 4 years of professional interior design experience • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field • Proficiency in Photoshop, AutoCAD, and SketchUp (Enscape a plus) • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team • Flexible availability Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm PST (excluding holidays) • Positive, solution-oriented, self-starting mindset Preferred Experience • Experience working in a luxury residential and/or boutique commercial design studio • Experience sourcing and specifying custom furniture, lighting, stone, and millwork • Familiarity with Monday.com, Asana, Slack, Zoom • Proficiency with Google Docs/Sheets and Microsoft Word/Excel REQUIRED: Please submit a cover letter addressed to BE. by Brittaney Elise that explains why you are interested in working with our studio, how your experience meets the qualifications outlined in this posting, and the unique skills or perspective you would bring to the role.
