Investor Relations Manager(Multifamily Real Estate Fund)
About the Role REI Accelerator and REI Capital Group is launching a private, closed end multifamily real estate fund and is seeking an experienced Investor Relations Manager to lead investor-facing efforts and serve as a key representative of the firm. This is a senior, externally facing role not a junior analyst position, not a Wall Street sales role, and not a back-office fund administrator. You will be the primary point of contact for accredited investors, help drive capital formation, and represent the fund’s strategy, values, and discipline with credibility and confidence. You will work directly with ownership and have meaningful influence over investor experience, messaging, and long-term relationship building. Who This Role Is For This role is ideal for someone who has: • Direct experience raising capital for multifamily real estate (syndications and/or funds) • Worked with accredited investors, family offices, or HNW individuals • Led investor calls, webinars, and ongoing LP communications • Operated in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment • Wants to grow into (or already operates as) a senior leadership presence, not a transactional salesperson Who This Role Is NOT For Please do not apply if your background is primarily in: • Public markets / Wall Street sales or trading • Registered investment advisory (RIA) wealth management • Fund administration, accounting, or compliance-only roles • General asset management without capital raising responsibility • Entry-level or purely analytical positions Core ResponsibilitiesCapital Raising & Investor Relationships • Lead calls with prospective and existing accredited investors • Clearly articulate fund strategy, risk profile, and return expectations • Guide investors through the full onboarding and subscription process • Build long-term, trust-based investor relationships Investor Communications • Host investor webinars and update calls • Support preparation of investor decks, FAQs, and written communications • Act as the face of the fund for LP communication Fund & CRM Oversight • Manage the investor pipeline within CRM systems • Track soft commitments, follow-ups, and onboarding status • Maintain clean, disciplined investor data and reporting Leadership & Representation • Represent REI Capital professionally with investors and partners • Work closely with ownership on fundraising strategy and messaging • Help shape investor relations processes as the fund scales Required Experience & Skills • 5+ years in investor relations or capital raising within multifamily real estate • Demonstrated experience raising capital from accredited investors • Strong understanding of: • Preferred returns • GP/LP structures • Waterfalls and fund economics • Excellent verbal communication and executive presence • Organized, proactive, and comfortable operating with autonomy Preferred (But Not Required) • Experience with private real estate funds (not just deal-by-deal syndications) • CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, etc.) • Experience working directly with founders or managing partner Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Benefits: • Paid time off Application Question(s): • Briefly describe your experience raising equity from accredited investors for multifamily or real estate private equity investments (years, structure, and rough capital range). • Have you worked directly on multifamily syndications or private real estate funds?
