Job Summary:

Sushi Lucy seeks a Server that is responsible for providing excellent customer service and promoting an exceptional dining experience for customers. Sushi Lucy is looking for motivated, dedicated and professional servers to be a part of our team! The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 2 years of experience as a server in the sushi restaurant/hospitality industry.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
? Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
? Ability to use any credit card processing machines, cash register, and touch screen monitors.
? Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
? Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages, according to local state laws.
? Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a high end fast-paced environment.
? Knowledge of Sushi, Japanese Beers/Wine, and Sake.
? Food handling certificate (Preferred)
? Excellent communication and customer service skills
? Responsible, trustworthy, attention to detail, cleanliness and safety.
? Ability to be mobile for a minimum of 6 hours on your feet.
? Bilingual is a plus

Duties:
? Greeting customers upon arrival at the restaurant.
? Providing excellent customer service during their dining experience.
? Memorizing the food menu and Beer / Wine and Sake list as well as any nightly specials.
? Providing suggestions for food or drink choices to diners.
? Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs and setting tables throughout the shift.
? Carrying drinks and food from the kitchen or bar area to the tables.
? Provides information to help with food and beverage selections.
? Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
? Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude and a focus on cleanliness.
? Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
? Transmits orders to the kitchen by recording patrons? choices and identifying patrons? special dietary needs and special requests.
? Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to Front of the House Supervisor/host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
? Practices ?Upselling? at all times.
? Respond to customer complaints quickly to resolve them effectively.
? Always attend to customers with a smile.
