Job Description:

American Airlines Group is seeking a Remote Communications Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. This part-time position is at the Associate Level and requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in communications or a related field. Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement communication strategies to promote American Airlines Group's initiatives and projects
• Write and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media posts, and internal communications
• Monitor and analyze media coverage and social media trends to identify opportunities for engagement
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels
• Assist in crisis communication efforts as needed
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in communications or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
