Marvel Studios Animation is hiring a compositor for one of our animated series productions. This person will be responsible for the final composite and output of animated scenes.

Responsibilities
? Lighting, rendering, and compositing in After Effects based on concepts sent from clients and directors.
? Digital touch-up, sweetening, and paint to finish composites as final... art/illustrations.
? Help establish key Look for Comp set-ups for the project working closely with the Lead Compositor, Animation Supervisor, Supervising Producer, and Director
? Lead sequences and share setups with your team members
? Attend dailies reviews and sequence launches, as needed
? Attend Director review meetings, as needed
? Execute the Director's vision and share creative solutions with team members
? Assist in developing techniques to render the necessary layers with appropriate compositing software and detailed documentation.
? Take direction from the directors to establish suitable work techniques and lighting tools when needed, as well as macros for 2D software for other team members with detailed documentation explaining tools and techniques.

Additional Qualifications
? B.A. or B.S. in Animation, or related field preferred.
? Knowledge and Experience with Effects/FX skills are a plus.
? Digital touch-up and painting ability.
? Extensive knowledge of and Experience with After Effects. Experience with Toon Boom Harmony a plus.
? Strong knowledge of Shotgun and Photoshop.
? Digital touch-up and painting ability
? Able to work independently using commercial and proprietary lighting, rendering, and compositing tools.

The hiring range for this remote position is $113,864 to $123,518 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
