Part-Time Bookkeeper/Controller (Bilingual - Spanish)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper/controller to manage financial operations across multiple business entities. This role requires expertise in QuickBooks Online, multi-company management, and bilingual capabilities to support our Latin American operations.
? 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

Responsibilities
? Manage 5-6 company files in QuickBooks Online
? Process multi-state sales tax using Avalara
? Manage Shopify and Fishbowl inventory systems integration
? Run payroll through ADP, including compliance monitoring for breaks/lunch
? Prepare financial reports for insurance providers
? Process accounts payable and prepare approval lists
? Handle Spanish-language financial communications with Latin American clients
? Develop and maintain financial SOPs
? Manage accounts receivable and collections
? Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications
? 5+ years experience in bookkeeping/accounting
? Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online multi-company management
? Experience with Avalara, Shopify, and Fishbowl inventory
? Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
? Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and ADP platform
? Experience with multi-state sales tax requirements
? Proven track record of developing and implementing SOPs
? Excellent organizational and documentation skills
