- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist providers with claims, status inquiries, denial rationale, appeals, and routing
- Handle authorizations, utilization management appeals, and prior authorization verification
- Address eligibility and benefits inquiries, interpreting medical benefit grids, and credentialing
- Document provider inquiries, route information, and educate on self-service options
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to incoming calls and resolving inquiries
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of high-volume call center experience as a customer service representative
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong typing and analytical abilities
- Active listening, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting
- 1-2 years of experience with healthcare insurance
- Medicaid experience highly favored
