Administrative Management/Human Resources The position requires knowledge of recruiting, personnel management, and faculty promotion and tenure processes, and the ability to manage a diverse group of professional and administrative staff. Operations and Leadership The position requires the ability to interact and develop positive working relationships with a diverse group of professionals at all levels within the organization, community, industry and state and federal governments. Customer Service The position serves as the business administrator for business, financial, and operational issues between the two tightly integrated entities. Within the regulations of UAMS and the COM and with the division director?s/department chair?s/ Service Line Director?s concurrence, provides administrative guidance for recruitment activities, provides oversight for departmental HR issues, provides oversight for expenditures and operational issues related to departmental educational programs, and provides major guidance and support in the application of the budget process and the monthly operating budgets and grants management.
