The Job: We are recruiting for an IT Help Desk Specialist to work with our expanding team. What You Will Be Doing As An IT Help Desk Specialist: • Identify areas for process improvement, and professionally communicate suggestions to leadership. • Build relationships with current and future customers. • Understand system features and limitations at an in-depth level. • Explain system functions to customers as it relates to their issues. • Work inter-departmentally to provide potential solutions for customer issues, and maintain strong communication with all parties. • Conduct customer meetings and site visits to assess support scenarios. • Manage and follow customer service support issues, and augment previous support to promote a solution for the issue. • Manage customer support escalations. • Monitor customer support case volumes. • Participate in special projects as required. Our Ideal IT Help Desk Specialist Candidate Has: • Computers and electronics - knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming • Office software acumen - comfortable with a wide variety of software including, but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Google applications, and relevant databases • Communication - express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization • Organizing and planning - develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work in a timely manner • Complex problem-solving - identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions Salary: • $40,000-50,000/yr + Benefits Requirements To Be An IT Help Desk Specialist: • Bachelor's degree Katapult Network is an equal-opportunity employer and celebrates diversity in all of its forms.
