About the Role We are seeking an experienced Data Entry and Customer Support Group Lead to join our team at blithequark. As a Group Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the division Chief and Managers in the overall leadership and operation of our facility, including general division management, supervision, and policy implementation, employee staffing, training, and development, driving office objectives, and meeting client needs and all division metrics. This is a full-time opportunity, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Key Responsibilities Lead others and work effectively with division team to achieve operational goals and objectives. Manage, assign, and direct activities of division associates to ensure efficient operations. Communicate information to team in an open and timely manner to ensure seamless operations. Support Director and Managers on an as-needed basis to ensure operational effectiveness. Utilize various reports, charts, and systems as necessary to identify issues that associates may experience in their work capability. Assign associates to workspaces within the division to achieve a fair workload and meet operational metrics. Meet daily with office Administrator and Manager to determine departmental staffing needs and tasks. Direct tasks as determined by Manager to ensure efficient operations. Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager to support the team and the organization. Train, develop, and evaluate colleagues to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively. Maintain attendance and performance records of associates to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Ensure hands-on safety, in all aspects of the job, to maintain a safe working environment. Essential Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this role. Ability to read, write, and count accurately to perform data entry tasks and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally (courteous and friendly). Must be certified on all equipment required to complete tasks and perform job duties safely and efficiently. Ability to work beyond 40 hours per week, as needed, to ensure operational goals and objectives are met. Leadership skills, problem-solving, self-direction, multitasking, delegate responsibility, set goals, role model for attitude, promote production as a visual cue, and ensure completion of the primary job. Solid WMS knowledge, computer literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint presentations. Must be available immediately and attend all mandatory training sessions. Excellent attendance is a must, as it is essential to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Preferred Qualifications Past warehouse experience, which can be an asset in this role, as it can provide a foundation for understanding operational procedures and protocols. Associate degree preferred, but not required, as we believe in providing opportunities for growth and development to all our employees. Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and have solid WMS knowledge and computer literacy. Additionally, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
