Industrial Designer Needed - Production-Ready Showroom Simulation Device (Automotive)
Job Description: We’re hiring an experienced industrial designer to create a sleek, eye-catching, production-ready enclosure/body design for an automotive showroom simulation display. This product is dealer-only and will be wall-mounted in auto/truck parts stores and installer showrooms, so the priority is visual impact and premium perception (not user operation). Device Components (must be accommodated): 2 throttle bodies 1 gas pedal 1 control unit (our module) Inside the enclosure: 1 power module 1 Arduino unit (control) We will provide exact sizes/dimensions. What We Need From You: A distinctive, automotive-inspired design that’s not basic or generic Manufacturing-feasible output (not just concept renders) Designed for real production methods such as metal fabrication/sheet metal, CNC/machine shop, and/or 3D printing Collaboration with our engineering team to ensure buildability Deliverables: Production-ready 3D design files (CAD) Visual renders for review Basic fabrication/assembly considerations (mounting, access, serviceability) Ideal Freelancer: Strong portfolio in industrial/product design, preferably automotive-related Proven experience designing for real manufacturing Creative, detail-oriented, and practical To Apply: Please share your portfolio and 2–3 relevant projects that show manufacturable product designs (metal/CNC/3D print).
