As a Network Engineer I, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and performance of our network infrastructure, working closely with our team to design and implement cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities Network Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to ensure high performance and security. Switching and Routing: Expertise in switching and routing protocols and technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting. Wireless Networking: Design and manage wireless network solutions to ensure seamless connectivity and coverage. Firewall Security: Implement and manage firewall security solutions to protect our network from threats and vulnerabilities. Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Network Access Control (NAC): Familiarity with advanced ZTNA and NAC technologies and implementation to ensure secure access to our network. SD-WAN Deployment and Management: Experience with SD-WAN deployment and management to ensure efficient and secure network connectivity. AWS Networking: Understanding of AWS networking and cloud integration to ensure seamless integration with our cloud infrastructure. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. Essential Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on the specified technologies. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, PCNSE, FCSS or equivalent are highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Certifications: Advanced certifications in specific technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, or AWS. Experience with Emerging Technologies: Experience with emerging technologies such as software-defined networking, network functions virtualization, or cloud-native networking. Scripting and Automation: Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Python, Ansible, or SaltStack. Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical skills and soft skills, including: Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, and wireless networking. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with our team.
