Role Description This role involves evaluating and enhancing the quality of clinical documentation, directly impacting patient care and healthcare operations efficiency. • Perform CDI/Coding audits to improve financial and quality metrics. • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare educational materials for providers. • Conduct real-time audits of documentation to identify improvement opportunities. • Provide feedback to the CDI team on documentation accuracy. • Assist in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Qualifications • Associates Nursing or Bachelor's in Health Science or Doctorate in Medicine. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an acute care setting as a Clinical Documentation Specialist. • Strong understanding of clinical coding and billing rules and regulations. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration. • Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office applications.
