Game Designer – Voxel Assets, Visual Design
Job Description: • Design voxel-style visual assets aligned with a Minecraft-like aesthetic. • Create 2D, 2.5D, and 3D assets using tools such as Blender. • Design textures, materials, and models suitable for in-game use. • Ensure visual consistency across environments, objects, and props. • Export and prepare assets in formats suitable for engine integration. • Collaborate closely with the Games Developer to align on technical constraints. • Iterate on assets based on gameplay, performance, or engine feedback. Requirements: • Strong creative background in 3D design, digital art, or game asset development. • Proficiency in Blender or similar 3D modeling tools. • Understanding of core concepts such as textures, materials, UV mapping, and low-poly/voxel design techniques. • Ability to adapt creative output to technical constraints, such as poly count, memory usage, and performance. • Demonstrated ability to maintain visual consistency and style cohesion across game assets. • Strong attention to detail and responsiveness to iterative feedback. • Comfortable collaborating across disciplines in a remote team environment.
