flex Senior Art Director
This is a temporary position. As a FLEX Senior Art Director, you will be responsible for defining and delivering high-quality visual storytelling across Marriott Media’s partner campaigns and brand marketing initiatives. This role brings creative and design vision across digital, video, experiential, and B2B channels while ensuring work is aligned to Marriott Bonvoy brand standards and business objectives. This position operates across two primary lanes of work: 1. Partner campaigns delivered through the Marriott Media Network 2. Marketing initiatives for Marriott Media, including brand marketing, sales enablement, experiential activations, and B2B campaigns As part of Riott Haus Creative, Marriott’s in-house agency, the Senior Manager, Art Director collaborates closely with Creative Directors, Project Management, Sales, Media, and Platform teams to concept, design, and execute work that is both creatively compelling and operationally sound. This role requires a strong design point of view, hands-on execution skills, and the ability to lead creative work across multiple formats and timelines. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of experience in art direction or visual design within an agency, in-house, or media environment. • Demonstrated experience leading creative across digital, video, and integrated marketing campaigns. • Strong portfolio showcasing concept development, art direction, and execution across multiple channels. • Excellent design sensibility, with a strong eye for typography, layout, color, and composition. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience Preferred • Experience in hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or premium brands. • Experience supporting B2B marketing or sales enablement creative. • Familiarity with branded content, media networks, or platform-driven creative systems. • Experience collaborating with motion, video, and experiential teams. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Creative Leadership & Art Direction • Lead visual concepting and art direction across partner and internal Marriott Media initiatives. • Translate strategic objectives and creative briefs into compelling visual systems and executions. • Ensure all creative output aligns with Marriott Bonvoy brand guidelines while pushing for elevated, modern design. • Provide art direction across digital, video, motion, experiential, and B2B marketing assets. • Maintain consistency and quality across campaigns, platforms, and touchpoints. Partner Campaign Creative (Marriott Media Network) • Develop and oversee creative for partner campaigns across Marriott Media placements. • Collaborate with Creative Directors and Project Managers to ensure concepts are executable within scope, timeline, and budget. • Design and direct creative assets including digital modules, video content, templates, and campaign toolkits. • Partner with Sales and Media teams to support pitch development and partner presentations. • Participate in creative reviews and present work to internal stakeholders as needed. Marriott Media Marketing & B2B Creative •Lead creative execution for Marriott Media’s own marketing efforts, including brand and product marketing campaign, video and motion reels, website and microsite updates, sales collateral and pitch materials, experiential activations and industry events, and B2B and trade-facing campaigns •Support the evolution of Marriott Media’s visual identity and creative expression. •Ensure internal marketing initiatives are cohesive, differentiated, and aligned to business priorities.
