Job Summary As our Weekend and After-Hours Social Media Community Manager, you'll play a vital role in managing the online social presence of B Squared Media and its projects. You'll be responsible for engaging with our online communities, responding to inquiries, and driving positive brand imagery on weekends and after-hours. This is a part-time, remote opportunity that requires a unique blend of social media expertise, communication skills, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Community Management: Participate in minute-by-minute online conversations, answering questions, offering solutions, and mediating discussions across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, and more. Response Time: Respond to project conversations and questions within 30 minutes, ensuring timely and effective communication with our online communities. Reporting: Report project details to our Project Manager and Account Manager, including responses, escalations, comments, compliments, and complaints regarding brand engagement. Insights and Analysis: Summarize insights and conversations to create actionable insights for our Account Manager, helping to inform future social media strategies. Special Projects: Assist with special projects as needed, utilizing your creativity and expertise to drive results. Reputation Management: Utilize reputation management platforms to monitor and manage online conversations about our brand. Project Management: Create, update, and complete project tasks on time in Basecamp, our project management system. Time Tracking: Track time by project task for invoicing purposes. Team Collaboration: Attend meetings with team or project leads for updates, reporting, and check-ins. Pre-Requisites Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with mainstream social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, and aggregators such as Emplifi and Sprout Social. Availability: Ability to work Friday nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and some weekdays after-hours with multiple check-ins throughout the day. Organizational Skills: Organized and efficient with a quick turnaround, meeting or exceeding deadlines. Communication Skills: Effective communication in both verbal and written form, with excellent grammar and spelling. Brand Awareness: Strong awareness of brand positioning and messaging. Flexibility: Flexible and strong team player with a willingness to work during non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications Experience: 1-3 years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands. Education: Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business, or a related field. Technical Skills: Knowledge of Sprout Social and Emplifi a plus. Remote Work Experience: Remote/telecommute work experience a plus. Learning Mindset: Eagerness to learn and a self-starter mentality.
