Job Summary We are looking for an outstanding Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in virtual testing and simulation to join our team. As a Virtual Testing & Simulation Quality Assurance Engineer, you will develop and execute virtual system test plans to validate system-level requirements, meet customer deliverables, and ensure integrated system performance across all sub-components. You will work closely with the Product Teams, QA Manual Testing and Requirements Team, and internal customers to drive high-quality product delivery and ensure that new solutions meet their requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and execute simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software Ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process- and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integration, service, and support prior to delivery Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products and communicate them to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams Coordinate simulations and testing processes, identifying and analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, and recommending and facilitating solutions Connect with internal customers, review client, customer, and user feedback, and maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related discipline 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams, with expertise in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance Proven experience in fulfillment systems, including storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with team members, operations, and management Project managing skills, with the ability to start and finish projects successfully Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Ability to think abstractly and strategically, with a focus on driving innovation and quality Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
