About the Global Marketing & Value Market Team The GMNP Team is responsible for driving revenue from our discount business, one of American Express' largest revenue sources. We use merchant pricing to drive adoption and scale the program, increase supplier satisfaction, and drive revenue and profit for Global Merchant Network Services (GMNS). As a Virtual Assistant with our team, you will report to the Vice President of Global Market Value, United States, and provide administrative support and assistance to the Vice President, United States, and NCG/RCCG/MA&SE. Key Responsibilities As a Virtual Assistant with our team, your primary responsibilities will include: Managing Appointments and Meetings: Organize, confirm, and manage appointments, meetings, and associated transportation. Make, receive, and manage a high volume of phone calls and emails. Travel Arrangements: Plan and manage complete travel arrangements for international and domestic travel, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation. Coordinate necessary passport/visa documents. Communication and Reporting: Prepare travel and time management reports. Use caution when handling sensitive and confidential information. Staff Communications: Develop and execute staff communications, including scheduling town halls, memos, and phone calls. Other duties and responsibilities upon request. Administrative Support: Perform general tasks, including but not limited to preparing newsletters, organizing documents, researching RFIs, filing, and preparing pre-interview materials for exams. Eligibility and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent Organizational Skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Prior Experience: Must be a self-starter with approval and prior experience in a similar role. Language Skills: Bilingual with the ability to speak Spanish (preferred). Independent and Resourceful: Demonstrate the ability to make good decisions and be independent and resourceful. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence all levels of the organization. Interpersonal Skills: Must have good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm under pressure. Demonstrated personal excellence and strong work ethic with a desire to win. Familiarity with American Express Systems: Familiarity with the use and application of American Express systems and procedures is preferred.
