The Role: Hybrid Customer Care Professional - Small Business Sales As a Hybrid Customer Care Professional - Small Business Sales, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and building long-term relationships with small business owners and decision-makers. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic team and contribute to the success of American Express. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Service inbound calls from small business owners and decision-makers, engaging with them to understand their needs and recommend the right American Express Small Business Services (SBS) products. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain high levels of product and service knowledge to clearly communicate features, benefits, and other elements of American Express SBS products. Selling Skills: Continuously improve key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales. Customer Care: Provide extraordinary customer care by responding to questions concerning accounts in a fast-paced, structured customer care environment. Documentation: Document necessary account information according to established policies and procedures. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance guidelines related to servicing and sales practices. Requirements and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Customer Service Experience: Two years of customer service experience with a passion for building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, resourcefulness, and strong written and verbal communication. Sales Experience: Proven success in a customer service and sales environment (two years+). Multitasking and Navigation: Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with proficient multitasking and navigation in a web-based environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Education benefits available. Availability: The hours of operation for this position are Monday-Sunday, 7:00 am EST - 1:00 am EST. Preferred Qualifications: Small Business Experience: Experience owning or working in a small business is a plus.
