Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group instruction to students, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership. Facilitate the use of our proprietary curriculum, designed to help students develop essential reading, spelling, and comprehension skills. Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff, creating a safe and welcoming learning environment that promotes academic success and personal growth. Manage client records electronically using a computer, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress. Utilize positive-reinforcement strategies to maximize learning, adapting your teaching approach to meet the unique needs and abilities of each student. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications A passion for helping others reach their full potential and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of students. Excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills, with the ability to model these skills effectively for students. Basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about student performance while leading engaging sessions. Monday to Friday availability, with the ability to commit to a regular schedule. Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, or an Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree. Prior teaching or tutoring experience, although not required, is highly valued and can be an asset in this role.
