Key Responsibilities As a Translation Program Specialist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Receiving daily translation and localization requests from internal teams and stakeholders, and managing these requests efficiently to meet business needs. Creating and managing translation projects in the blithequark Translation Management System (ATMS) by outsourcing to vendors, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Coordinating and communicating project delivery timelines based on project volumes, translation, and review process needs, to ensure seamless execution. Troubleshooting issues or questions regarding target audience, file type, and business requirements, and responding to linguistic queries from translation vendors. Requesting feedback from internal stakeholders and coordinating with vendors for implementation, to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Utilizing project management methodology, including risk management, to plan, scope, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard, meeting the requirements of the business. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and processes, with demonstrated project management experience and organizational discipline to track and manage work for several complex projects simultaneously. Key qualifications include: 2+ years of experience in project management and localization, with a proven ability to learn new software, concepts, and processes. Excellent business communication skills, with experience working in a global, cross-functional, multilingual team. Strong attention to detail, with a passion for intercultural communication and proven organizational skills and ability to multitask. Ability to work independently with little oversight, and to ask critical questions to comprehend customer needs and discover the root cause of issues. Fluency in one or more non-English languages, with comprehension of translation and localization industry processes, and knowledge of localization tools, translation management systems, and content management systems.
