Job Overview The External Support Engineer at arenaflex will serve as the primary point of contact for external content teams, providing technical support, training, and guidance on the use of our content tools. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to content/external teams in regards to the use of content tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing downtime. Create comprehensive reference materials and deliver training sessions to get external teams up to speed with our toolset, promoting adoption and effective usage. Solve and debug possible issues with tools and workflows, leveraging technical expertise and analytical skills to quickly resolve issues for users. Escalate complex or problematic issues to the tool development team, collaborating with production to track these issues in JIRA and ensure seamless communication. Advocate for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, fostering a culture of continuous feedback and innovation. Partner with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality, driving cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing. Guide or lead cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, ensuring that our tools and workflows meet the evolving needs of external content teams. Exemplify reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions, upholding the highest standards of excellence and integrity. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, communication, and interpersonal skills, including: A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in software development and technical support. Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality technical support and resolving complex issues. Unity 3D game and tool development experience, with a strong understanding of game development pipelines and workflows. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, with experience in agile development methodologies and version control systems. iOS and Android mobile development experience, with a solid understanding of mobile app development principles and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners and stakeholders. A positive attitude and the ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered an asset: 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a proven track record of developing high-quality software applications. Experience with C# code, with a strong understanding of programming principles and software development best practices. Self-motivating and able to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously, with excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
