Key Responsibilities As a Technical Support Engineer at arenaflex, your primary focus will be on providing top-notch technical support to external content teams, ensuring they can effectively utilize our tools and workflows. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering technical support to content and external teams regarding the use of content tools, addressing queries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Creating comprehensive reference materials and providing training sessions to get external teams up to speed with our toolset, enhancing their productivity and efficiency. Debugging and solving possible issues with tools and workflows, quickly resolving problems for users and minimizing downtime. Escalating complex or problematic issues to the tool development team and collaborating with production to track these issues in JIRA, ensuring seamless communication and prompt resolution. Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, driving continuous improvement and innovation within our organization. Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and user experience, contributing to the growth and success of arenaflex. Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Technical Support Engineer at arenaflex, you will need: A strong foundation in computer science or a related field, with a degree or equivalent work experience. Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a proven track record of delivering technical support and resolving complex issues. Unity 3D game and tool development experience, with a solid understanding of C# code and the ability to read and understand code snippets. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other defect-tracking software, with experience in tracking and managing issues in a fast-paced environment. iOS and Android mobile development experience, with a keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners, provide constructive feedback, and receive objective feedback. A positive attitude, self-motivation, and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not essential, the following qualifications and experience will be highly valued: 5 years of experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a strong portfolio of projects and achievements. Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams, driving features from concept to completion, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git. Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and a strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and scalability.
