Job Summary As a Strategy & Analytics Consultant at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in driving business growth and improvement by leveraging your analytical and technical skills to inform strategic decisions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and implement data-driven strategies that enhance our operations and customer experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in airline operations and develop data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement new strategies, processes, and systems that drive business improvement and enhance operational efficiency. Leverage technical skills, including SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, and Big Data Concepts, to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and develop predictive models. Transform raw data into actionable findings and present insights to senior leadership and other stakeholders through clear, concise, and compelling narratives. Develop and maintain complex models and algorithms to support business decision-making and optimize operations. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to promote professional growth and development. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, demonstrating initiative, ownership, and accountability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced experience in network planning, airline operations, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, Teradata, PostgreSQL) and experience with data manipulation and visualization tools, such as Alteryx and Tableau. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create compelling presentations and reports. Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop predictive models. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have: Experience working in the aviation industry or a related field, with a deep understanding of airline operations and the challenges faced by the industry. A degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science, or a related discipline. Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python or R, and experience with data science tools and technologies.
