Job Overview and Responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sleep Therapy Inbound Customer Service Representative to join our Sleep Central Inbound Call Center team. As a key member of our team, you will serve as the first line of contact for CPAP resupply customers, providing exceptional patient care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include new order intake, verifying and entering patient demographics, payer and physician-related information, and assisting customers with basic sleep coaching and equipment maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Act as a patient advocate to resolve questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner Collect patient and source information, inputting data into our e-Intake system with accuracy and attention to detail Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and FDA and JCAHO guidelines Provide basic technical customer service assistance for CPAP equipment, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly Process related patient paperwork, manage initial intake via high-volume inbound phone calls, and ensure timely fulfillment of product orders Make outbound calls as needed to collect patient data, and provide education to patients and location employees on CPAP supplies Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion when handling sensitive information, adhering to our high standards of patient care and data protection Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with one to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment. A strong customer service background, experience in the medical field, and administrative record management skills are essential. You should be able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with physicians, employees, and patients.
