Job Overview The Senior Manager Product Management - Customer Experience is responsible for leading the development and execution of product strategies that drive business value, improve customer satisfaction, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. As a senior leader, you will guide cross-functional teams, mentor and coach product managers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning (40%) : Develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a seamless user experience, prioritize product updates, and allocate funding to support the enterprise roadmap. Delivery & Execution (30%) : Drive product development by reviewing performance, directing work efforts, and ensuring products meet quality and change control standards. Resolve issues, prioritize incoming requests, and provide guidance on product design and development. People (30%) : Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to product managers, attract and retain top talent, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. Conduct performance reviews, develop individual development plans, and advocate for modern software development practices. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in product management, with a focus on customer experience and modern software development practices. A bachelor's degree in a field related to product management, business, or a related field. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams. Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and business objectives. Experience with agile methodologies, specifically extreme programming (XP) principles, paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: 8+ years of relevant work experience in product management, with a focus on customer experience and modern software development practices. Mastery of working in a fast-paced, fluid environment with shifting priorities. Proficiency in communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels of the organization. Experience with user research, testing, and analysis to understand customer needs and preferences. Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to identify goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value.
