About the Strategic Customer Engagements Team The SCE team is a specialized group within blithequark's Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization, responsible for guiding transformative deals with industry leaders. As a Senior Manager in this team, you will develop deep expertise in cloud economics, hone your strategic thinking, and directly impact blithequark's market leadership while working with cutting-edge technologies and global clients. Your primary focus will be on managing a team to lead the end-to-end deal cycle for strategic, large, complex, or highly competitive deals, earning trust with customers, and creating actionable strategies to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead negotiations and customer closure for strategic, large, complex, or highly competitive deals, ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes and goals. Build, lead, and retain a high-performing team of industry experts, each responsible for driving high growth, high-impact strategies in their respective domain. Proactively engage in career development and thoughtful performance management of your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Develop and shape the overall deal strategy and structure to meet customer business outcomes and goals, contributing to the development of blithequark's value proposition and solutions. Drive revenue growth and cloud adoption, closely collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization, including regional sales teams, service teams, finance, legal, and other regional and global stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, supporting blithequark's strategy and contributing to the development of commercial strategies for deals with blithequark Field Sales Executives. Inspire, influence, and facilitate alignment with internal stakeholders, experts, and other resources to remove obstacles and achieve desired business outcomes. Develop strategies for pricing and discounts, effectively communicating and identifying deal blockers, and leading or supporting the presentation of deal proposals to customers. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A strong background in sales, business development, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and cloud adoption. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build, lead, and retain high-performing teams. Deep expertise in cloud economics, strategic thinking, and deal-making, with a strong understanding of the public sector and its unique challenges. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to earn trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
