About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger Be a key owner of the monthly close process for domestic and international entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP and consolidated financial statements, using accepted accounting principles and methodologies Assist in providing audit support to external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews Communicate with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to drive process improvement initiatives Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a CPA certification being a plus At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry or role Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and SOX/internal controls Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite is preferred, but not required Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and precision in your work Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results Why Join blithequark?
