Job Summary The Senior Finance Analyst will play a critical role in providing professional recommendations and guidance that inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities Control the overall advertising EMEA FP&A system and calendar, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data to stakeholders. Plan and track advertising spend by market, spend type, franchise, and store, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. Deliver key quarterly, annual, and long-term forecast deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Develop and implement new marketing tracking and reporting techniques to enhance existing finance processes. Provide ad-hoc support to the Senior Finance Supervisor and Finance Director as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs. Prepare analysis on the effectiveness of spend for key advertising campaigns, including postmortems and insights on performance. Guide various advertising teams with financial queries, methods, and spend appraisals, ensuring that financial considerations are integrated into business decisions. Control and deliver other ad-hoc initiatives and requests within the scope of the role, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach. Essential Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a fully qualified accounting or finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) and have experience in both FP&A and financial reporting. A background in financial support of a marketing function is highly desirable, as is experience working in the retail or licensing sector and/or a large media enterprise. You will need to have a strong understanding of commercial management and be able to work effectively with a local finance and commercial head office. Preferred Qualifications and Experience Experience working in a similar role within a large, multi-national, matrix organization. A track record of providing commercial aid to business partners that is insightful, well-timed, responsive, and accurate. Confirmed experience of building powerful relationships and managing stakeholders within a complex organizational structure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and insightful presentations that convey key messaging at the right level of detail.
