Key Responsibilities Designs and develops large-scale data architectures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data, providing insights and addressing reporting needs. Creates ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, designs database systems, and develops tools for real-time and offline analytical processing. Collaborates with the data science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into digital processes. Works with data in Cloud, Hadoop, and experience designing and optimizing queries to build data pipelines. Utilizes strong programming skills in Python or other major languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems. Develops data warehouses and data models to support Data Science and other internal clients, integrating data from various sources while ensuring adherence to data quality and accessibility standards. Analyzes current data technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions. Experiments with available tools and advises on new tools to determine the optimal solution given the requirements directed by the model/use case. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications: 5+ years of relevant work experience in Data Engineering. 5+ years of experience with SQL. 5+ years of experience with Python. Experience with Cloud-based platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, or Azure). Strong Communication, Analytical Reasoning, and Problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Candidates with the following preferred qualifications will be given priority consideration: Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark. Experience with Reporting (Tableau). Knowledge of the healthcare industry is an asset.
