Job Overview As a Senior Data Analyst at blithequark, you will play a critical role in planning and executing cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes utilized for data/text mining, analysis, and informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities Apply statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources, providing insights into key business issues and expectations. Develop and implement data analysis and reporting solutions, presenting results to an expansive scope of audiences, including management and cross-functional teams. Guide less senior staff and work in cross-functional projects and initiatives, regularly presenting to management and contributing to the development of the team. Drive navigation through the use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management, ensuring that business decisions are informed and strategic. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance. Additionally, you will need to have at least three years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analysis. Essential Skills and Competencies Proficiency in analysis software and applications, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python, and R. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. Strong relational skills, with the ability to guide less senior staff and work effectively in cross-functional teams and projects. Ability to work independently with moderate supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Experience or coursework with Agile methodologies, such as SAFE Scrum. Experience with requirements gathering, probability and statistics, TSQL/PLSQL, Python or R, and mathematical modeling. Knowledge of automation, revenue data, and basic accounting principles. Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques, with the ability to create interactive and dynamic dashboards and reports.
