Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Content Writer and Communications Specialist to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our Client Trust Outer Relations (CTXR) association, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that showcases our company's commitment to customer trust and safety. Your primary focus will be on creating high-quality, engaging content for our owned and acquired channels, including websites, email, and other external communications. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the bar for external-facing content, ensuring that it aligns with our company's values and mission. Collaborate with internal business partners, including product owners, PR, and public policy teams, to develop versatile processes that increase the breadth of information we share with external stakeholders. Help program leaders and the CTXR team with copywriting, drafting, and reviewing business documents, and editing for grammar, style, and tone to ensure alignment with blithequark's writing standards. Develop a content guide in partnership with client trust group program leaders, and lead content reviews with senior management and program leaders. Work closely with product, technology, and business teams to define content for external stakeholders, ensuring that external insights are aligned with our company's goals and values. Create new client trust content, including blog posts, newsletters, stories, and press releases, that showcases our company's commitment to customer safety and trust. Act as a speech specialist to senior leaders, driving the creation and delivery of compelling, executive-level presentation materials, including slides, proposals, scripts, messaging documents, and customer stories. Identify and build relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to support content creation. Essential Qualifications 4+ years of experience in communications, journalism, or a related field. Experience in corporate communications, marketing, or external affairs roles. Knowledge of and comfort with AP style writing. Experience writing web or blog content, including using CMS tools. In-depth understanding of writing for a specific audience, and incorporating principles for brand voice. Solid content creation and/or editing background. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, technical writing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Experience working as part of a global team with remote partners. Experience working in an agile content development environment. Experience with a markup language like HTML or XML. A strong portfolio of writing samples or completion of a writing exercise. Solid bias for action and the ability to adapt to multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
