Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Retail Operations Manager Trainee and Coach to join our team in Bryan, OH. As a Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee, you will lead and develop high-performing teams, drive financial performance and sales growth, and provide exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for modeling and demonstrating our service standards, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring that customer needs are met. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Provide feedback and coaching to ensure that teams are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business results. Customer Service: Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates. Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensure customer needs are met, and develop action plans to correct deficiencies. Financial Performance and Sales Growth: Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing expenses, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Supervision and Development: Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Ensure diversity and inclusion awareness and recruit qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and provide direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices. Essential Qualifications Education: 2 years of college or equivalent experience. Experience: 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related field. Experience: General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, with responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Certifications: Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership or related field.
