What You'll Do As a (USA) Stocking 2 Coach, Non-Complex, Management, you will be responsible for leading and developing teams effectively, driving financial performance, and providing exceptional customer service. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading and developing teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates Touring stores and providing feedback (Tour-to-Teach) Communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction Introducing and leading company change efforts Providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions Communicating business objectives to teams effectively Modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards to store associates Managing and supporting customer service initiatives Ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved Developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies Providing process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience Driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area Reviewing and evaluating P&L (Profit & Loss) statements Managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses Monitoring and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes Developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 2 years' of college OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience Additionally, for facilities that sell firearms, you will be required to successfully complete a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, you may be required to have a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates who have: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to have: Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change Strong customer service skills Ability to lead and develop teams effectively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walmart, we are committed to helping our associates grow and develop their careers.
