You will be responsible for taking orders, coordinating activities in the store, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate blithequark products and services. You will also be expected to operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, move boxes and equipment, stock materials, manage the production queue and output, manage complex projects, manage retail supply, and complete assigned tasks based on priority. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers, understanding their individual needs and providing solutions to meet those needs * Take orders, coordinate activities in the store, and provide pricing and product information to customers * Recommend appropriate blithequark products and services to customers * Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and other related equipment * Move boxes and equipment, stock materials, and manage the production queue and output * Manage complex projects, manage retail supply, and complete assigned tasks based on priority * Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing store functions * Assist in the training of store team members * Demonstrate consultative behaviors in a retail environment to understand each customer's individualized need * Provide customer expertise in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines and recommend appropriate blithequark products and services * Ensure all customer problems are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of the customer **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent education * 6+ months of specialized experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods * Ability to move and lift 55 pounds * Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees * Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members * Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction * Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure * Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time * Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision * Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the blithequark business **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment * Knowledge of printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines * Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Retail Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
