About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Remote Live Chat Agent to join our team at blithequark. As a Live Chat Agent, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and service to our diverse clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries, bookings, and support through online chat, ensuring prompt and friendly service while handling multiple conversations efficiently. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via live chat in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all queries are addressed and resolved efficiently. Assist guests with reservations, cancellations, and modifications, providing accurate and up-to-date information on hotel services, promotions, and policies. Troubleshoot customer issues and escalate complex problems to the relevant teams or supervisors, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and easily accessible. Provide high-level administrative support to the executive team, including managing schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements, as well as preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations. Coordinate meetings and events, including logistics and materials preparation, ensuring that all events are well-organized and executed smoothly. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and integrity in all interactions. Assist in project management and follow-up on action items, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to the required standard. Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, providing effective communication and ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date on relevant matters. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or chat support is highly desirable, although not essential. Strong written communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to multitask and handle multiple chats at once, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing time efficiently. Basic knowledge of hotel booking systems is a bonus, although training will be provided to the successful candidate. Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential, as our live chat service operates 24/7. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software, including chat platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. High level of discretion and confidentiality, with the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity. Education and Training The minimum education required for this role is a high school diploma or equivalent.
