Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Remote iOS Mobile Application Development and Customer Service Specialist to work from the comfort of their own home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing next-generation mobile payment applications, providing virtual support and troubleshooting to our customers, and working collaboratively with our scrum team to execute product requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop native mobile applications for iOS, including apps and SDK libraries, using best development practices and design patterns Provide virtual support, troubleshooting, and customer assistance to ensure exceptional user experiences Work as part of a scrum team, collaborating with UX, product management, and other teams in an agile manner to execute product requirements Design and develop iOS frameworks and UI components based on best practices and industry standards Execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) for visionary initiatives and contribute to the development of next-generation mobile payment applications Provide subject matter expertise for the iOS platform and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile application development Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field 5+ years of experience in software development using Java, Objective-C, C, or C++ 2+ years of experience in iOS mobile application development Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for mobile platforms Preferred Qualifications Experience with iOS development tools, including Xcode, continuous integration tools, and unit testing Knowledge of iOS platform security practices and experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications with server-side systems Solid coding practices, including good design documentation, unit testing, source control (GIT, SVN, etc.), and peer code reviews Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new initiatives Proven ability to work and have fun in a team environment Desired experience with mobile banking applications and familiarity with integrating GCM notification systems Familiarity with design and implementation of configuration-oriented apps and imaging APIs, remote deposit, and other relevant technologies Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
