About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This is a remote contract position open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States, with a preference for those in the PT or MT time zones. The contract is for 6-8 months, with the possibility of extension. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our dental insurance claims processing operations, ensuring accurate and timely entry of data into our systems. You will be provided with a Chromebook for work use and will undergo comprehensive training to ensure proficiency in our systems and compliance with HIPAA policies. Key Responsibilities Perform data entry tasks related to dental insurance claims processing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Download and upload images from a client portal to the Overjet portal, maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive patient information. Adhere to HIPAA policies and maintain data security, ensuring the integrity of patient data. Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise. Meet productivity and quality standards, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining high levels of accuracy. Essential Qualifications Prior experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or dental insurance setting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, with a high level of organizational skills. Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace that meets HIPAA requirements. Ability to work core US business hours, preferably in PT or MT time zones, and commit to working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Ability to comply with HIPAA policies and maintain data security, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive patient information. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with dental insurance claims or healthcare data entry, with a strong understanding of industry terminology and concepts. Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) or other healthcare software systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues and exceptions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team.
