Primary Responsibilities As a Data Entry Specialist with blithequark, you will play a critical role in managing data entry operations, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data across our systems. Your primary responsibilities will include: Pulling and gathering data from various computer and electronic systems, software applications, and online data sources. Collecting data from reference manuals and ensuring the information is accurate and complete. Seeking clarifications or corrections to data from relevant stakeholders and prioritizing data entry requests. Manually entering and scanning relevant data using applicable systems or programs, reviewing entered data for errors or discrepancies, and ensuring data entry is performed accurately and timely according to internal standards. Performing audits of submitted data entries, providing feedback to team members, and facilitating corrections to incorrect data entry when applicable. Generating and running reports to verify, correct, and update information, and escalating challenging data entry problems to management for resolution. Adhering to internal workflows, business rules, policies, and procedures, and demonstrating an understanding of how relevant computer systems and platforms operate and integrate with one another. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School diploma or GED. At least 3 years of data entry experience in a corporate, business, managed healthcare, hospital, or insurance environment. Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, entry, and reporting, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. Solid data management experience, preferably within managed care, referral management, patient appointing, and/or patient administration functions. Solid data mining, analytical, and reporting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
