Job Overview As a Remote Data Entry Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for digitalizing incoming healthcare claim forms and ensuring that all details are accurately captured and validated. You will work closely with our team to meet the expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute established by the company, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This is a remote position, and you will be required to work one of the assigned shifts, Monday to Friday, between 6 am CST and 10 pm CST. Key Responsibilities Capture and validate complex data with high accuracy Classify and index images, and pre-adjudicate documents as required Verify data from automated data extraction tools and correct any errors Utilize various systems to complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines Work with multiple source documents to verify data and use additional information to complete tasks Maintain or exceed the expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute, with a high level of accuracy Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to type at least 45 words per minute with high accuracy and 10-key by touch proficiency Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a high accuracy rate Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing (preferred) Experience working through a VPN connection High school diploma or general education degree (GED) At least 18 years of age or older Eligible to work in the United States Able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in data entry or a related field Knowledge of healthcare claims processing and digitalization Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates. Compensation and Benefits The estimated salary range for this role is $15 per hour, and you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time.
