Job Overview As a Remote Data Entry Assistant/Typist at blithequark, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our financial data. Your primary responsibilities will include coding and entering data into our computer system or database, verifying the accuracy of the data entered, and generating routine computer reports and/or printouts. You will also be responsible for correcting and updating our database(s) as needed, performing related clerical duties, and undertaking other related tasks as assigned or requested. Key Responsibilities: Code and enter data into a computer system or database via a monitor or keyboard with high accuracy and efficiency Verify the accuracy of data entered to ensure data integrity and quality Correct and update database(s) as needed to maintain up-to-date and accurate information Generate routine computer reports and/or printouts to support business operations and decision-making Perform related clerical duties, such as filing, scanning, and data retrieval Undertake other related duties as assigned or requested by the Accounting/Finance team Qualifications and Preferences To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a High School diploma or equivalent, as well as 6-12 months of experience in a related field. You should also have expertise in general office procedures, including keyboard skills, and be proficient in using computer systems and databases. While not essential, we prefer candidates with prior data entry experience, as this will enable you to hit the ground running and make a meaningful contribution to our team from day one.
