Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to policyholders and interested third parties via inbound calls, ensuring that all inquiries and issues are handled promptly and professionally. As a key member of our call center team, you will utilize multiple systems to explain policy coverage, claim status, and assist with claim payments or other policy information. Your primary focus will be on achieving first contact resolution and high customer satisfaction while maintaining adherence to defined operational standards. Primary Responsibilities Handle a high volume of calls (approximately 70-120 per day) in a fast-paced call center environment, providing exceptional service to policyholders, providers, and interested third parties. Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and consistency in your responses. Ensure customer needs are met on every interaction, whether via phone, email, or written correspondence, and maintain department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management. Utilize multiple systems to access and update policy information, ensuring that all customer inquiries are resolved efficiently and effectively. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: At least 1 year of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with additional experience in a receptionist role or a position that involves taking calls on a daily basis. Be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Have a reliable internet connection with a minimum upload and download speed of 20 Mbps, as well as a hard-wired connection. Own a smartphone to access our VPN and have basic computer knowledge and skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a minimum typing requirement of 30 words per minute. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and maintain excellent organization and time management skills. Insurance industry experience is considered a plus, but not a requirement. For safety reasons, you must have or be willing to obtain a fire extinguisher to keep in your home. Maintain a quiet and professional workspace, free from distractions and interruptions. Location and Schedule This is a remote position, with the opportunity to work from home nationwide (excluding certain states). You will need to have open availability Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm CST. Our training program is 2-3 weeks long, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm CST. Post-training, you will be assigned to a 40-hour workweek, with a Monday through Friday schedule and no weekend shifts unless overtime is presented.
