Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to policyholders and interested third parties via inbound calls. Your primary objective will be to address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently. You will utilize multiple systems to provide accurate and timely information, focusing on first contact resolution and high customer satisfaction while adhering to defined operational standards. Primary Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound calls (approximately 70-120 calls per day) in a fast-paced call center environment Engage in heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to address their concerns and provide policy information Review and maintain up-to-date knowledge of new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and consistency in customer interactions Ensure that customer needs are met on every interaction, whether via phone, email, or written correspondence Maintain department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: At least 1 year of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with additional experience in roles such as receptionist or customer-facing positions 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent Remote experience is strongly preferred but not required Reliable internet connection with a minimum upload and download speed of 20 Mbps (hard-wired connection required) Smartphone for accessing VPN Insurance industry experience is considered a plus but not a requirement Basic computer knowledge and skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent oral and written communication skills Minimum typing requirement of 30 words per minute Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a remote work environment Familiarity with insurance industry policies and procedures Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant systems Training and Development arenaflex is committed to providing comprehensive training and development opportunities to ensure your success in this role. You will participate in a 2-3 week training program, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm CST. This training will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as a Remote Customer Service Representative. Work Schedule and Location This is a full-time, remote position, with a 40-hour workweek. You will be required to work Monday through Friday, between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm CST. While we offer flexible scheduling, you must be available to work within these hours. Please note that weekend shifts are not typical, unless overtime is required. Equipment and Resources arenaflex will provide all necessary equipment for this role, except for a smartphone, which you must have to access our VPN.
