About the Role In this Remote Customer Service and Sales Representative role, you will serve as a Retention Specialist, playing a vital part in the growth of our organization. Your primary objective will be to retain customers who are considering canceling their arenaflex services, leveraging your exceptional problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and recommend long-term solutions. As a key member of our team, you will handle a high volume of incoming calls, acting as an expert in retention and sales to provide award-winning customer experiences that increase brand loyalty and drive customer retention. Key Responsibilities Utilize customer service and sales experience to resolve customer complaints and concerns, reducing frustration and displeasure to ultimately save customers Persuade and upsell customers on the value of arenaflex services, leveraging exceptional de-escalation skills to handle difficult calls and provide multiple offers to resolve customer concerns Retain long-term business for arenaflex through customer service commitments, providing the right solutions to meet customer needs Use proven problem-solving skills to quickly identify the cause of cancellation requests, creating quick calculations to work with customers to negotiate the right solution Maintain knowledge of arenaflex policies, products, services, and systems, as well as knowledge of the wireless industry, service capabilities, and other security companies Consistently improve performance and achieve goals, using attention to detail and active listening skills to uncover customer issues and concerns Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of selling or saving customers in a company tied to performance 2+ years of call center customer service and sales experience, with a strong background in customer retention and loyalty High school diploma, GED, college degree, or some college experience Ability to work with numerous screens and programs open to help resolve customer issues, with excellent multitasking skills Experience in interpreting contracts and communicating terms and conditions, with strong negotiation and active listening skills Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in a retention or sales role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices Knowledge of the security industry, with a strong understanding of wireless technology and service capabilities Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools, with excellent technical skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Excellent active listening and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and upsell customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to creating a culture of career advancement and development.
