About the Job As a customer-focused professional, you'll be responsible for making outbound (and some inbound) phone calls to assist customers with payment collections on their accounts. You'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing knowledgeable answers and resolutions to their queries, and ensuring that they feel supported and valued throughout the process. Key Responsibilities Make outbound (and some inbound) phone calls to customers to assist with payment collections on their accounts Provide customers with knowledgeable answers and resolutions to their queries, ensuring that they feel supported and valued throughout the process Keep in touch with your managers and team members to receive feedback, coaching, and support to continuously improve your performance Utilize scripted customer feedback to provide solid responses to customer inquiries, ensuring consistency and quality in our customer interactions Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, including notes and follow-up actions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to have prior customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment. A background in retail, sales, or wait staff can be beneficial, as these roles often require strong communication and interpersonal skills. You'll also need to have a quiet and dedicated workspace at home, with reliable internet connectivity and a standard keyboard for typing customer notes. Preferred Qualifications GED or High School Diploma Previous experience in payment collections or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting performance targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide personalized support. You'll also need to be highly organized, with strong time management and prioritization skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
