Job Overview As a remote customer service agent at blithequark, you will be working full-time, providing top-notch service to our customers from the comfort of your own home. Your schedule will be between 7 AM - 11 PM ET, seven days a week, ensuring that our customers receive the support they need, whenever they need it. Your primary responsibility will be to answer inbound calls, address customer complaints and questions, and provide personalized assistance to those affected by disasters. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Answer inbound calls and maintain professionalism with the caller while addressing their complaints and questions. Follow established work instructions and scripts for calls and documentation to ensure consistency and quality in our service delivery. Provide great customer service and actively manage one-on-one relationships with callers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. Utilize your excellent communication skills to empathize with customers, understand their concerns, and provide personalized solutions to their problems. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. You must be proficient in English and have above basic proficiency with computers and smartphones. Additionally, you must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week and be willing to complete our comprehensive training program, which includes Day Zero Certification self-led trainings, Registration Intake Training, and Helpline Training. Essential Qualifications Must be proficient in English and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week. Must possess above basic proficiency with computers and smartphones. Must complete Day Zero Certification self-led trainings, Registration Intake Training, and Helpline Training before taking phone calls. Must be 18 years or older and willing to pass a criminal background check and credit check. Preferred Qualifications Previous call center experience is preferred but not required, as we will train skilled entry-level candidates. Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status. Must live in the U.S. and have reliable access to broadband internet connectivity. Technical Requirements To ensure that you can provide exceptional service to our customers, you must have the following technical requirements: A laptop or desktop with at least 8GB of RAM. A wired headset with a microphone for clear communication. Two monitors are preferred, but not mandatory. A quiet, distraction-free, private workspace.
