About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Care Advocate to join our team of customer experience specialists. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in connecting individuals with the support they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities Proactively reach out to individuals via phone to offer help and support according to program requirements Work closely with a collaborative team of professionals who share your passion for improving lives and making a difference Be a key contributor to improving the lives of millions of people by connecting them with the support they need to thrive Provide exceptional customer service over the phone and via email, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and a commitment to helping others Utilize our leading technology platform to achieve meaningful and measurable outcomes, and stay up-to-date with the latest tools and protocols Essential Qualifications At least 1 year of outbound customer experience in a call center, claims, benefits, fundraising, or healthcare scheduling environment A passion for mental health and emotional wellbeing, behavioral health, community outreach, resources, healthcare, or active volunteerism Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and listening, with a willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve A college graduate or Associate's degree in a customer-related field, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a strong sense of self-motivation and discipline Residence in one of the following states: AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, KY, MA, MD, MN, NC, NE, NV, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WI Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting, with a strong understanding of the importance of emotional wellbeing and mental health Experience with technology platforms and software applications, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and systems A strong sense of urgency and purpose, with a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands A growth-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and trust with others Empathy and understanding, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of adaptability and flexibility Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and challenges A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a strong understanding of the importance of cultural competence and sensitivity Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
