We're now seeking an experienced and skilled Call Center Representative to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. About the Role As a Call Center Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our customer service and patient enrollment processes. You will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries, resolving data entry-related exceptions, and providing support to pharmacists and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Utilize blithequark's data entry guidelines and processes to enroll new patients by entering information into the appropriate system. Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Research and resolve missing prescription data, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions, and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. Handle correspondence with patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve third-party oddballs. Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Obtain and maintain a valid professional license or certification within the first 90 days of employment. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic level PC skills, including startup and shutdown procedures, using the mouse, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and accessing data online. Basic web browsing skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a webpage, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Effective written and verbal communication skills. 18 years old or older. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmacy specialist experience in a retail or call center environment. A minimum of 1.5 years as a pharmacy specialist with certification/registration by the State Board for Pharmacy or a widely recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
