Key Responsibilities: Provide telephonic nursing support to Aetna members, addressing their medical concerns, and offering guidance on health-related issues Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, developing personalized care plans that meet their unique needs Collaborate with healthcare providers, including doctors, hospitals, and clinics, to coordinate medical services and ensure seamless care transitions Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, to record and track patient care activities Participate in on-call rotations, as indicated by staffing and business needs, to ensure that our members receive 24/7 support Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical procedures, protocols, and best practices, staying current with industry developments and advancements Essential Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota, with additional licensure required in multi-state carrier regions Minimum 365 days of nursing experience, with IV-related experience considered a plus Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word Ability to participate in on-call rotations, as indicated by staffing and business needs Preferred Qualifications: Three years of nursing experience, with a focus on infusion, home healthcare, or related specialties CRNI certification, although not required, is highly preferred Experience working with electronic medical records and telehealth platforms Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers Education and Training: To be considered for this role, you must have obtained a nursing diploma, B.S. degree in nursing, or equivalent. Additional certifications, such as PALS or CRNI, are highly valued and may be required for certain positions.
