Job Overview This exciting opportunity is available within the Quality Control Strategies and Guidelines team, where you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will assist in utilizing data to develop, present, and make recommendations for novel ideas and projects, as well as perform in-depth analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements. Assist in creating and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders. Aid in investigating critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging issues and provide insightful reporting to enable senior leadership to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities. Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to support the relevant areas of the analysis and facilitate stakeholder understanding. Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements. Identify irregularities in processes through audits/surveys and communicate findings to the team. Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors. Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision. May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree and have a strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively present ideas to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of data visualization tools and skills, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred. Ability to evaluate business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to focus on responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual. Past internship experience in a related field is preferred. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
